109 Classic Rock Culture: Fashion and Playlist
When rock music began to evolve to become more mainstream…and started sounding similar to pop music (around the 1980′s) the genre known as Classic Rock emerged. It’s goal was to keep the rock music ans styles of the 50′s, 60′s and 70′s alive, and I’d say it worked since teenagers in 2012 still get high to Pink Floyd, play The Beatles rock band, and even consider most current rock music to be dead compared to the classics. Classic Rock doesn’t have it’s own fashion style, per se, but many devoted fans dress like the artists to rep their love. The styles of the 60′s and 70′s are always showing back up in current fashion trends, so it’s no surprise that Classic Rock styles reflect that. Here are some modern looks at PLNDR inspired by the rock classics.
