During our two days on the road, the Skullcandy van met various personalities from the Parisian scene. Last week we attended the official launch event of the new Skullcandy Supreme Sound headphones in Paris. The new technology that Skullcandy developed in house, adds bass, natural vocals, and precision highs to the line-up of high end headphones. Especially the Aviator model, presented at the event, can impress not only with its sound, but also with its simple and high quality looks, something entirely new in the Skullcandy collection. The technology was developed by an in-house team, lead by sound engineer Tetsuro Oishi, aka ‘The Golden Ear’. The event also included live performances from 2&4, and the DJ’s and producers of De La Soul’s latest venture, First Serve. Only an hour after Richardson uploaded his video of model Kate Upton doing the Cat Daddy , Skullcandy unleashed the first episode of Take a Supermodel to Work series, featuring OKC Thunder ‘s Kevin Durant , James Harden , and who else but Kate Upton . Along with the just announced The Berrics collaboration , audio accessories maker Skullcandy unveiled its new Skate Team. Headlined by the one and only Eric Koston, the new team consists of Sean Malto , the 2011 Street League Champion , and Baker pro Theotis Beasley . Completing the roster is Steve Berra , an industry giant who co-created The Berrics with Koston. Just like the fashion lifestyle program headed by supermodel Kate Upton , the Skullcandy Skate Team will help to develop special products, along with provision of support and exclusive media content catering to the skating community. Expect more to come as the Summer season starts.
