Nike x Hyperdunk ‘Syracuse’ Sneakers

The Nike Hyperdunk ‘Syracuse’ in Wolf Grey / Orange Blaze is yet another Nike Hyperfuse creation and a nod to Syracuse Orange, particularly their game against San Diego State on the USS Midway this past weekend. This comes on the heels of the Obsidian/Metallic Silver-Photo Blue-Ice Blue that was released a couple of days back and retailed for $160. In this iteration, wolf grey predominates the color scheme but the orange is the scene-stealer appearing on the laces, heel, lining, midsole, and the exposed flywire. Take a look at the images, what do you think? Colorway: Wolf Grey/Orange BlazeRetail: $140Product Code: 524934-007 (source) Purchase your own pair now! While in these parts we strive to foster  a climate of mutual support in the blogging community, some think otherwise as German Garment launches the Nobody Reads Your F*** Blog tee. An ironic statement wee see as possibly illustrating the overwhelming amount of new blogs created every day, and whether anyone does read them… German Garment  tees are made from high quality raw materials  manufactured in Germany and then printed by hand in Berlin. Classic Rock Culture: Fashion and Playlist

When rock music began to evolve to become more mainstream…and started sounding similar to pop music (around the 1980′s) the genre known as Classic Rock emerged.  It’s goal was to keep the rock music ans styles of the 50′s, 60′s and 70′s alive, and I’d say it worked since teenagers in 2012 still get high to Pink Floyd, play The Beatles rock band, and even consider most current rock music to be dead compared to the classics. Classic Rock doesn’t have it’s own fashion style, per se, but many devoted fans dress like the artists to rep their love.  The styles of the 60′s and 70′s are always showing back up in current fashion trends, so it’s no surprise that Classic Rock styles reflect that.  Here are some modern looks at PLNDR inspired by the rock classics. News Round Up: SUPRA Launches Women’s Line, Target x Neiman Marcus Collaboration, Nordstrom x Topshop

SUPRA Launches Women’s Line For the past six years ladies have been rocking SUPRA sneakers regardless of the fact that the footwear line did not have a women’s line. But SUPRA has just partnered with eccentric eye wear designer A-Morir to release a collection of flashy and colorful sneakers hot enough to make your boyfriends jealous. There’s something about the attention grabbing aspect of a unique pair of sneakers that even the chicest heel of the moment couldn’t attract. The best attribute about SUPRA’S new women’s collection is that it can subtly compliment an already great outfit but at the same time it can perfectly uplift an otherwise plain outfit and still be the star of the show.  PLNDR  has a couple high tops in feminine hues that I know you ladies would enjoy. Also check out the rest of the collection in all of its sequin and animal print glory! Target x Neiman Marcus Collaboration Whether you are a fan of Target, Neiman Marcus or neither of the two stores you will lose your mind when you hear of this new collaboration. The two department store giants are joining forces to create a holiday capsule collection that will be sold in BOTH stores. The fact that Target is involved means it will definitely be affordable and extremely wallet friendly. But hold on to your seats – the best part is about to come. The capsule collection will feature work from 24 CFDA designers! We are talking Oscar De La Renta, Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, Tracy Resse, Rag & Bone, Diane Von Furstenberg, Rodarte, Prabal Gurung, Derek Lam – the jaw dropping list just goes on! I really hope this is not the only time they do this – this needs to happen like every single year. I don’t know who thought of this collaboration but all I can say is, it is  nothing short of EPIC. Items range from $7.99 -$499. The majority of the items will be under $60. Think of all the chic designer gifts you could get for your loved ones (or yourself). So mark your calendars and on December 1 run to the nearest Target or Neiman Marncus store because you know everything is going to be sold out in a matter of days. Nordstrom x Topshop Collaboration This collaboration isn’t as epic as the one with Neiman Marcus and Target but it’s still genius. Starting in November, Nordstrom will introduce Topshop and Topman boutiques in 14 stores. If this is profitable they will carry Topshop items in every store. I know this is great news for every Topshop lover out there – you can drive to your closest Nordstrom instead of ordering online or going to a major city like NYC for your Topshop fix.
