In an exclusive interview with WWD Carine Roitfeld, former editor in chief of French Vogue, has unveiled the name and first pages of her upcoming namesake publication – CR Fashion Book. Published by Fashion Media Group LLC, the New York-based company behind Visionaire, V and VMan, the first issue will have 288 pages and will go for 9.95 USD. Rumors have been floating around for a while and it looks like we know a little more now about the future venture of ex Editor in Chief of French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld. We will be launching her own fashion magazine come September 2012. The name is not out yet, but she does tell WWD that “ There will be no “front of the book” section and its emphasis will be “fashion with a lot of freedom.””. Apparently she has partnered with the same group, that is also behind V Magazine and Visionaire, as the two have worked together on several projects in the last months already. We will keep you posted as we hear more about the magazine.
