From the upcoming Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2012 Men’s Collection we can exclusively preview today one of the more interesting accessories to be released. Not only thinking about style, but also about new materials and production techniques, the French luxury brand will release these wire frame sunglasses in very limited numbers. The sunglasses come in two colorways and feature polarized lenses. Look out for these in LV stores in the coming months. Italian luxury eyewear brand L.G.R. has teamed up with French brand A.P.C. on a small sunglasses collection. THe unisex models come in several colorways, they “are handmade in Italy from cellulose acetate, a material pliable enough to be moulded without the use of further heating. Everything is hand polished, no paint or solvents and all lenses are anti reflex coated and 100% UV protected. Earlier we presented the new EFFECTOR by NIGO glasses that were added to the collection this season. Here is now a look at the collaboration with fellow Japanese brand Undercover, by designer Jun Takahashi. For Spring/Summer 2012, the two brands worked on the ‘Gloria’ and ‘Kimberly’ sunglass styles. Both come in black with dark lenses – an overall classic and easy to wear shape. Look out for the new EFFECTOR by Undercover sunglasses in stores now. The amount of concepts being created around Apple products, especially around their iPhone and iPad categories is incredible. As such the quality in many cases of those concepts is of course great. Some are more interesting than others, some are more realistic than others, but every once in a while they make us dream. Here we present the iPhone Pro, which is probably rather unrealistic, but an amazing concept. Designed by Jinyoung Choi, for users that really care about a good camera, the “iPhone Pro features a 4.5 inch wide LCD screen with 2 side buttons. The 1.2megapixel 3D camera notches up the funk by hooking well with a DSLR lens. Projector capabilities, portable speaker and removable hard disk (at the rear), make the phone all the more dishy!” The phone, the lenses and all other accessories for the iPhone Pro look great. Italian sunglass brand SUPER presents their latest offerings for Spring 2012. As usual they stay busy expanding their collection, including new silhouettes and finding new ways to make their old ones interesting again. The playful attitude, while delivering hand made Italian sunglasses, is what we love the most about the brand. The new Offshore collection is a natural evolution of the preceding Panama collection, a consolidation of experimentation and research culminating in further exploration in design and materials, all the while raising the bar for SUPER. Color is key: soft translucent colors, new colored acetates and colored lenses, contrasts and tints—each combination carefully selected to ensure that the quality and design are not diluted.
