A bag becomes a wall clock and a silk scarf is turned into a bag – the Hermès ‘Petit H’ Creative Lab does exactly that – they turn left overs from the brand into great one off items. Artists and designers work in the Petit H lab and turn leather, crystals and other scraps into designer objects. The outcome is very impressive. Originally started in 2009, we can take a look today at some of the objects that were produced in the lab. The wall clock and the leather origami bear sculpture, as well as the silk covered cabinets are for us the most impressive. Check out the new Hermes Petit H video here below. This past weekend Hayter Communications held an “editorial shredfest” at Stevens Pass in Washington’s Cascade Range. The idea was to bring together a select group of journalist & photographers to test out 2013’s most unique snowboard/outdoor gear from a variety of brands that included Ride Snowboards , Poler , POW Gloves , Smith Optics , Helly Hansen , Stanley , Pop Chips , Full Sail Brewing , Microsoft , Kind , Spacecraft , MTN Approach and more. Outfitted with a 1999 Fleetwood Jamboree GT RV towing two Urals and stockpiled with gear, beer & snacks the Northwest welcomed us with over 30 inches of fresh powder. Attendees included Jake Hanson (Hayter Comm), Graham Hiemstra (Cool Hunting), Craig Wetherby (TheGoodLife!), Noah Johnson (Complex), Justin Gural (Venture There), Mike Horn (Stoke Lab), and TC Worley (Gear Junkie).
