LEGO Architecture – Big Ben

LEGO’s latest addition to its Architecture Landmark series is London’s famous clock tower, Big Ben. This set actually looks pretty easy to put together. It contains 346 pieces and includes a booklet containing facts and history on the tower. It’ll be available from the LEGO  online shop  starting June 1.

LEGO’s acclaimed Architecture Landmark series has announced the release a model of London’s famous clock tower, Big Ben. This is quite timely as the Summer 2012 Olympic games are set soon and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The series of LEGO bricks interpret the designs of iconic architecture around the world has already included the Sydney Opera House and the Burj Khalifa, so this 19th century Gothic Revival architectural icon is deserved alongside them all. The set contains 346 pieces and includes a booklet containing facts and history on the tower. It’ll be available from the LEGO online shop on June 1. More images follow after the click. Leica Announces M Monochrome Camera & X2 Camera

While the Leica event is still going on in Berlin at the moment, we can already report about the two most interesting announcements of the event – the Leica M Monochrome and the Leica X2. The M Monochrome comes with 18 megapixel, 100% sharper imaging, and with a newly developed monochrome CCD processor. Yes, we are talking about a digital camera here. The camera comes in a beautiful black chrome finish. The camera will go for 8000 USD retail. The X2 follows up on the compact X1, and will be available in two colorways (silver and black), featuring a 16.1 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, automatic and manual operation and will connect to a hi-res electronic viewfinder.
