In June Karl Lagerfeld announced his collaboration with Japanese cosmetic brand Shu Uemera, which he’s a big fan of. While he is working on the limited edition makeup line, the brand just released a video teaser to show what’s to come. Artist and reconstructor of vintage jackets Dr. Romanelli has unveiled another body of work revolving around fleece. The good doc has created a line of blazers all comprised out of multiple pieces of vintage fleece. Each blazer features 80’s sourced pinstripe lining, as well as suit style metal buttons from the 60’s and 70’s. For their upcoming mirrorless camera system, the Fujifilm X-Pro1 , the brand teamed up with Globe-Trotter. Together the two produced a limited edition suitcase, featuring the camera, along with a series of lenses and other accessories. The suitcase launches exclusively at London department store Harrods. “Global digital camera brand Fujifilm is delighted to announce its partnership with luxury British luggage manufacturer, Globe-Trotter. The two companies have collaborated to create a limited edition, Vulcanised Fibreboard suitcase for the latest in Fujifilm’s coveted X series, the much-anticipated X-Pro1. The 12 cases are launching exclusively at Harrods Technology. The Vulcanised Fibreboard suitcase is handmade on original Victorian machinery at the Globe-Trotter factory in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Vulcan Fibre was invented in Britain in the 1850s and is formed from 14 layers of specially bonded paper, coloured to specification. The brass rivets and locks and tan leather trim contribute to its luxury aesthetic. The case is finished with an embossed leather ‘Harrods Exclusively’ tag and brass plaque. Each case has handcrafted compartments to house the X-Pro1, the flash, filter and the camera’s three lenses and lens hoods: 18mm, 35mm and 60mm. The X-Pro1, the latest in X series range of Fujifilm cameras, is receiving phenomenal reviews for its image quality, versatility and cutting edge technology. The team over at adidas Originals continues to expand the reintroduction of the Kopenhagen, one of the most recognizable models from adidas’ famed City Series back in the 70′s and 80′s. Seen here in a Clear Blue and Sand Colorway, both feature smooth, lightweight suede uppers with white accents on the iconic toe bumber and serrated 3-Stripes for the blue model and dark brown accents on the other. The other features you expect are also back, including the pivot-point herringbone rubber outsole and the textile lining. Berlin based sneaker store Solebox is always busy with their latest collaborations. Today we can take a first look at their upcoming version of the Reebok Omni Zone Pump. The sneaker collaboration will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Solebox and as usual they have some special ideas for the occasion – the Omni Zone Pump comes with build in led light function on the outer side panels, similar to what we have seen from Solebox for the anniversary of the Pump a couple of years ago. Included in Nike’s unveiling of the new HTM Flyknit collection in New York yesterday was this offering of the shoe in a grey weave mid top. As with all HTM releases in the past, production is extremely limited and with talk of additional future colourways, the shoes will be available exclusively in New York, London and Tokyo. Since its launch, Loopwheeler have been favored by many brands around the world for its high quality cotton fabrics. In particular, handful of Japanese brands have reached out to Loopwheeler to produce their garments season after season. One such brand is menswear label NEXUSVII , who have been continuing the collaboration with Loopwheeler for some time now. Here we take a preview of their Spring/Summer 2012 pieces, based on their original black and green marle fabrics. Two styles were produced – Zip Hoodies and Sweat Top models – with slight modification to differentiate them from the standard Loopwheeler collection. On the hoodies, the ordinary side pockets were replaced by buttoned pockets, and additional washable leather panels were added on the hood, providing a distinct appearance. The green items will be sold exclusively at NEXUSVII stores, while Loopwheeler will be stocking the black items exclusively.
