N epenthes NY has collaborated with Russell Moccasin for Fall/Winter 2012 to make an original version of the Oxford Country Multi Combo. The shoes are mounted on a Vibram sole and use various leathers in construction. Available in two colors (black and brown), they are now available in the New York store. ( Glltn )
Cole Haan keeps going strong and presents a limited edition pack for 4th of July 2012. The LunarGrand Wingtip and the Harrison Oxford got the American Flag Indepence Day treatment in terms of colors. The limited edition pack will come on June 27th to Cole Haan Soho and to Undefeated Los Angeles.
The Supreme Arabic Logo graphic has been one of the main graphics for the season, appearing on hoodies, t-shirts, as well as skate decks so far. Today they follow up on the previous releases and present the matching 5-panel caps. As part of their Summer 2012 Collection, New York brand Supreme presents a new collaboration of t-shirts with Daniel Johnston. Born in Sacramento California in 1961, Daniel Johnston is an artist, singer, songwriter and musician. Mr. Johnston’s music has appeared in several films including Kids, Where the Wild Things Are, and the award winning documentary about his art and life The Devil and Daniel Johnston. His songs have been covered by numerous musical artists including Beck and Pearl Jam, amongst others. Mr. Johnston’s artwork and illustrations are straightforward expressions that are often connected to his own fears and desires. The group of three original T-Shirts highlight Daniel Johnston’s highly original illustrative style. Coming in a series of summer colors, the t-shirts will be available in-store in NY, LA, London and online on June 14th. They will drop in Japan on June 16th. Take a further look after the jump. Just like many other brands, luxury leather maker MCM is launching a limited edition backpack collection, inspired by the upcoming London Olympics. MCM has been producing popular backpack styles for a couple of seasons already, also as part of special collaborations with Phenomenon and other brands. This time they pay homage to British culture and of course the unique spirit of the event this summer. MCM applied their signature monogram pattern in various colors as part of the collaboration. They added the Union Jack design to it and accessorized the backpacks with metal studs. The iconic backpacks come in three different sizes, and are available in five lively colors: bold red, bright neon orange, lime green, black and classical cognac. Look out for the backpacks at MCM stores now – these will go fast. Even though only re-interpretations of the classic Rolex Submariner watch, we have always been fans of the watches by Japanese brand JAM HOME MADE. Here we present now their newly released 12th anniversary ‘Jam Diamond’ model. It comes in both silver and black and is made of stainless steel. Various elements of the Submariner are featured on the watch. The Rolex logo area is blacked out, which is an interesting idea. The JHM logo placement comes in contrasting red and the bezel is blank. BMW cuts the middle man out when it comes to custom matte paint jobs by offering the M3 and M5 in three matte colors. These will be very limited to the tune of 30 cars each and making them even more limited is the fact that they will be released in the UK only. After the rave over teddy bears and pandas, Jeremy Scott returns to his collaboration with adidas Originals in Fall/Winter 2012, juxtaposing elements of technology with nature, pitching keyboards against flowers, and wrapping everything up with eye-catching brights signature of the 90s. Today we present a couple of preview looks from the new collection and just as expected, the designer is going wild with patterns and colors again. The Nike Roshe has become quite the unexpected hit for Nike this season. The light weight runner has released in a series of strong colors, bringing the expertise of the Swoosh in the running sector into the lifestyle sector. For Fall 2012 they have the next version of the sneaker ready – the Nike Roshe Run Trail. The mid top sneaker comes with the same outer sole, yet a ripstop nylon upper, leather reinforcements and hiking boot inspired laces.
