In contrast to Ghesquiere, Wang is viewed as slicker and more contemporary than Ghesquiere, whose designs while modern are beholden to the house’s history, an adjustment Wang would no doubt need to make should he win the position. Geez that was fast! Kane created a real fashion buzz with his Gorilla tees a few years ago and apparent fear of bloggers .We wish him the best, #Noshade. A spokesman of Christopher Kane just denied the speculation in a statement to WWD saying: “Rumors surrounding Christopher Kane’s appointment as creative director of Balenciaga are unfounded.” So, the suspense continues. The kit includes an adidas Originals x Brooklyn Nets crew and tee shirt as well as an inaugural season jacket designed by adidas Originals and manufactured by Portland brand Dehen. The limited edition kit is not available for purchase at any retailer. Two additional kits can be purchased as auctioned items on eBay. She established her Paris studio in 2010 and now comes up with an adorable collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Juicy Couture just launched a short film titled ‘California Dreaming’ to promote its holiday collection. Starring Candice Swanepoel and directed by Terry Richardson (also co-starring) at the setting of Chateau Marmont, the top model presents pieces from the actual collection packed in a L.A. typical ‘Girls-just-wanna-have-fun’ story. As part of the brands new digital and social media strategy, the film includes links of the apparel and accesories of Juicy Couture, so that they can directly be shopped while watching it.
