George Zimmerman's Bloody Head After He Shot Trayvon Martin (GRAPHIC PHOTO)

George Zimmerman appeared inside a Seminole County courtroom today for his first hearing/arraignment. But the judge moved the date for the formal arraignment to May 29th. A new photograph has emerged depicting the back of George Zimmerman ’s head as a bloody mess on the night he shot and killed Trayvon Martin. The photo obtained exclusively by ABC News shows the bloodied back of Zimmerman’s head, which was taken three minutes after he shot and killed Trayvon.  This latest piece of evidence shines more light into what exactly happened that fateful night. This revelation comes as his attorney and prosecutors prepare for Zimmerman’s bail hearing today, which could result in his being released from a Florida jail. Zimmerman is currently being held on charges of second-degree murder for the Feb. 26 shooting of Trayvon, which could carry a life sentence if he is convicted. The exclusive image shows blood trickling down the back of Zimmerman’s head from two cuts. It also shows a possible contusion forming on the crown of his head. The original police report noted that the back of Zimmerman’s head was wet, and that he was bleeding from the nose and head. Zimmerman told police that night that he shot and killed Trayvon after he punched him and pounced on him. Zimmerman told police that Martin then bashed his head into the concrete sidewalk during the altercation that took place inside the Retreat at Twin Lakes gated community in Sanford, Fl. Zimmerman is currently being held in a 67-square-foot cell in Seminole County’s John E. Polk Correctional Facility. For more on Trayvon Martin, please join our Justice For Trayvon  Facebook page
