Juicy Couture just launched a short film titled ‘California Dreaming’ to promote its holiday collection. Starring Candice Swanepoel and directed by Terry Richardson (also co-starring) at the setting of Chateau Marmont, the top model presents pieces from the actual collection packed in a L.A. typical ‘Girls-just-wanna-have-fun’ story. As part of the brands new digital and social media strategy, the film includes links of the apparel and accesories of Juicy Couture, so that they can directly be shopped while watching it. With the hashtag #givemewhatiwant Juicy adopts this new media strategy to engage its customers in a two way dialogue. Watch the video here above and check Juicy for more information. It’s Copenhagen Fashion Week and one of our favourite Danish brands, Wood Wood , presented its runway for Spring 2013, in the all-white setting of Andersen’s Contemporary, an event space in Copenhagen. What we see from on Wood Wood images is truly distinct from other CFW fashion shows that have come before it. Themed around autumnal colors, the label showed a more grown up version of itself, which personally makes me very happy. I’ve always appreciated Wood Wood, but rather than buying an item for myself, I always end up shopping sweaters for my boyfriend. This Summer I am looking forward to getting my hands on one of the labe’s flower print, silk dresses, in particular I’ve got my eyes on the one in midnight blue. We recently posted first images of the wonderful Miu Miu ad campaign with Chloe Sevigny . This time the Italian brand enchants us with the first images of the brand’s loafer collection for Autumn 2012. We all know that Miu Miu constantly delivers amazing shoe models and always manages gorgeously to toe the line between feminine and masculine moments. Since loafers have become a basic for almost every woman’s wardrobe, the Autumn 2012 collection will probably be out of stock in no time. The range of styles includes nude patent leather, blue python, and bright gold glitter. And for all of you who prefer to stay neutral, the loafer’s also come in neutral-hued patent and tonal blue printed python skin. Pretty hard to decide which one to pick! By the time she was 18, Lindsey Wixson’s striking face had already fronted campaigns for a large numbers of  high fashion brands.  In an editorial for Vogue UK she looks more radiant and natural than ever.  Shot by Terry Richardson, the New York-inspired spread shows some of the upcoming trends for Autumn: houndstooth, lumberjack plaids and tweed, styled with a country manor feel. With it’s latest lookbook “I’ll be your mirror” , the Japanese brand Bedwin & The Heartbreakers , mostly known for it’s very detail orientated and high quality garments, proved that they not only know how to play with classic American menswear but also that the womenswear is definitely worth to pay heed to. I really like how they use different elements to create great looks, all very modern but not looking not too sleek at all. I really fell in love with the college outer with leather applications combined with a blue shirt and traditional black pants. Take a look at the Women’s looks on the next page. The French brand A.P.C. just launched its Fall/Winter 2012 Women’s collection. As usual, the collection is dominated by minimalist designs, clean lines and simple patterns. This Fall the A.P.C. typical characteristics of military garments are endorsed with fake fur and leopard print pieces. With her Autumn/Winter campaign “Arizona Muse” photographed by David Sims, Isabel Marant celebrates the comeback of the 60’s. Compared to yesterday’s posting of Lana Del Rey for H&M as young Prescilla Presley, Mrs. Marant chose to create a more masculine look. A mix between Elvis Presley and James Dean completed with some femine accents like lace, make the campaign captivating and mysterious at the same time. Take a further look after the jump.
