After a first preview the other day, we can give you a further look at the collaborative project by French artist JR and José Parla. The two are currently installing murals all over Havana, as part of JR’s ‘Wrinkles of the City Project’, that he has been touring with for a while already.
The fusion of the large scale photography work of JR and the typographic art of José Parla is simply stunning and beautiful, adding even more impact and resulting in an even stronger message than JR’s work by itself does already. As usual the work perfectly integrates with the local surroundings.
Take a tour of their works after the jump.
